About the Role
We are a growing, creative catering business looking for a Sales & Events Executive to manage events from enquiry through to delivery. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role combining sales, planning, and occasional on-site support, ideal for someone with a background in catering or hospitality who enjoys variety and client interaction.
You will be the key point of contact for clients, helping to sell, plan, and coordinate events ranging from simple platter deliveries to larger, more complex canapé and hot food events.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound sales enquiries and convert them into confirmed bookings
- Plan and coordinate events from initial enquiry to delivery
- Advise clients on menus, formats, and logistics
- Prepare and manage quotes, proposals, and event details
- Oversee delivery plans and hand over events to the operations team where appropriate
- Attend events on site when required, particularly for larger or more complex functions
- Work closely with a small, friendly team to ensure seamless event delivery
- Assist with hands-on tasks when needed (e.g. helping load vans)
- Represent the business professionally at client meetings and presentations
About You
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or events sales/planning
- Confident, professional, and personable with strong client-facing skills
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple events at once
- Sales-focused with a good understanding of event logistics and delivery
- A hands-on team player comfortable working within a small business
- Presentable and comfortable meeting clients and attending events
- Driving licence helpful but not essential
