Our Young Person Resilience Workers play an integral role within Change Grow Live, engaging young people in a range of interventions, using a young person-centred approach, and empowering our young service users to reduce risk, increase resilience and lead safer, happy, and healthy lives. This is a unique chance to sculpt the creation of a brand-new role dedicated to supporting young people who use vapes. Weāre looking for a passionate, forward-thinking individual to join our team and, with the guidance of our Team Leader, bring this role to life within a large organisation.
About the role- Engage young people in a range of interventions, utilising a young personācentred approach, empowering them to reduce risk, increase resilience and lead a safer, happy and healthy life.
- Support young service users from point of entry into the service and through their journey.
- Engage young people who are using vapes and provide them with advice, support and interventions to support their health and wellbeing needs.
- Provide screening, assessment, psychosocial interventions, integrated care planning, postātreatment support, including transfer of care.
- Identify and respond effectively to potential safeguarding issues.
- Reduce vapingārelated harm to young service users.
- Support and provide advocacy for young people by participating in all relevant multiāagency meetings, including Child Protection meetings, Complex Case Review panels and Team Around the Child meetings.
- Experience of working with young people.
- Knowledge of safeguarding concerns in relation to children and young people.
- Understanding of vapes and vaping issues and experience of working within a related field.
- Accomplished written and verbal communication skills and a high degree of personal IT competency.
- Knowledge of evidenceābased practice around young peopleās substance misuse treatment services and methods, including relevant best practice guidance.
- A commitment to multiāagency working and establishing partnerships with other professions to achieve good outcomes for young people.
- Excellent team working and interpersonal skills, maintaining a highly cooperative approach to supporting colleagues in delivering service objectives.
- 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays), rising by 1 day for each year of service (capped at 30 days).

Hours: Fullātime, 37.5 per week
Salary: Ā£27,861.26 ā Ā£32,002.35 ProāRata, depending on experience.
Allowance: Ā£4,133.14 Inner London Weighting ProāRata
