Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live. Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of a million hours of their time to our organisation. Would you like to join our growing team of volunteers and make a real difference?
The garden at CGL York is in need of some TLC. A group from Aviva did a great job of tidying it up, but now it needs some gardeners to tend to it on a regular basis. Do you live in York and fancy being responsible for creating and maintaining a space which makes a real difference to those who use it? The garden runs next to the City Walls from Micklegate Bar and is a real sun-trap. It is home to all sorts of wildlife - foxes and birds. There is space to plant as you want.
- No fixed hours - maybe one or two days/half days a month.
- Tools provided.
Please note that interviews for this post will be held on 28/29 September & 1 October. You must be available for training on 12/13 October and 2/3 November (9:30-15:30) at Blossom Street.
