Are you able to work with different organisations and services to help coordinate employment support? We are recruiting for an Employment Specialist to join our team in Nottinghamshire.
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities:
Following new funding, we are looking to appoint an Employment Specialist Lead to support the delivery of our IPS service. The IPS team works to support people using our treatment and recovery services to move towards employment where appropriate. The role will involve providing supported employment to people receiving community treatment for substance use, including individuals who may also have health conditions or disabilities. The post will use the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) approach and will involve working with service users, employers and other organisations to identify and support suitable employment opportunities.
About you:
- We do not expect you to know everything about IPS – however, some knowledge would be helpful.
- Experience talking to employers and helping people into work.
- Great communication skills and the ability to build relationships.
- Negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
- Drive, passion and commitment.
- Proven ability to build rapport with people, especially understanding issues for people affected by substance misuse or similar conditions.
- Boundless enthusiasm, excellent teamwork and the ability to work in a target driven environment.
- Strong written, verbal and organisational skills.
