About the role
You will lead the mobilisation, coordination and delivery of the IYC programme across the North West. This includes:
- Leading the operational delivery of the IYC programme across custodial and community settings.
- Building and strengthening multi‑agency partnerships with HMPPS, probation, police, Project 180, local authorities and VCSE partners.
- Developing and embedding effective referral pathways across custody, community and diversionary routes.
- Driving high‑quality, trauma‑informed practice, ensuring safeguarding and risk management are central.
- Using data and insight to monitor performance, influence system improvements and remove barriers to engagement.
- Providing visible, values‑led leadership to staff and representing the programme at strategic and operational forums.
About You
The ideal candidate has:
- Proven operational leadership experience within criminal justice, health, substance misuse or related services.
- A strong track record of multi‑agency partnership working and system navigation.
- Experience leading teams and delivering complex programmes or projects.
- Deep understanding of rehabilitation, behaviour change, and recovery‑focused approaches.
- Ability to translate strategy into delivery, balancing operational detail with strategic oversight.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and problem‑solving skills.
- Commitment to trauma‑informed, values‑led practice and improving outcomes for people facing multiple disadvantage.
Location & flexibility
- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: Full time (37.5 hrs per week for full‑time roles)
- Location: Your closest CGL Service; remote work with regular travel across North West prisons and community sites.
