About the Role
At Change Grow Live, you’ll have the chance to make a real difference in people’s lives by supporting them on their recovery journey. As a Recovery Support Volunteer you will work closely with Recovery Coordinators, helping individuals throughout their treatment journey.
Responsibilities
- Support people as they change the direction of their lives, build confidence, and reach their full potential.
- Assist with assessments, develop risk‑management plans, and offer one‑to‑one support.
- Receive full training and ongoing guidance, gradually managing a small caseload of low‑risk clients.
Qualifications
- A non‑judgmental, empathetic approach to working with people who use drugs.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and commitment to regular volunteering.
- Willingness to work in community settings.
