Making the decision to enter treatment can be an intimidating experience for the people we support. You can make a difference. As a Volunteer Duty Worker with Change Grow Live you’ll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be. This role is based with the XX team.
Responsibilities
- Work with people who use the services to support their goals in their treatment journey.
- Be flexible, curious and a good listener to treat each person as an individual.
- Receive regular supervision and have access to on-site day-to-day guidance and support from the team.
- Contribute to a positive, compassionate environment that aligns with the organisation\\\’s values.
Qualifications and requirements
- 18 years of age or older to be considered for this volunteering role.
- Enhanced level Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required.
- Ability to be compassionate, open and bold in supporting people with drug and/or alcohol issues.
