Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live. Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of a million hours of their time to our organisation. Would you like to join our growing team of volunteers and make a real difference?

Responsibilities

Everyone is welcome at Change Grow Live. As a volunteer, you will be treated with respect and accepted for who you are. You don’t need to have personal experience of drug and alcohol recovery to get involved. This role will see you working with our administration and data quality team at York. If statistics and order are your thing, then this role will offer a real chance to get into the detail of what we offer and the outcomes. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be a real benefit.

Working in the admin team will also see you do occasional reception cover, which will give you a great chance to get to know some of the people who use our services and use your skills to make their experience of CGL the best that it can be.

Interviews will be held on: 24 / 25 November 2025

If successful, you would need to be available for face-to-face training on:

  • Monday 1 December - Induction
  • Monday 8 December - Boundaries

These courses are delivered at: 3 Blossom Street York YO24 1AU
