Overview
At Change Grow Live we believe groups are a great way to engage and connect with those who use our services. We therefore offer a wide range of structured and peer lead group work programmes including Foundations of Recovery and SMART Recovery.
As a Group Work Support Volunteer, you will play an instrumental role in supporting the facilitator in the planning and preparation of groups. This will include promoting groups to service users, reminding them of up and coming sessions and engaging with those who do not attend. You will be provided with training and supported to eventually be able to take the lead in delivering some of the groups and provide one to one support to clients within the group setting. You will also have the opportunity to play a key role in the review and development of session materials including content, handouts and delivery.
