We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Practitioner within our Bassetlaw and Newark team.

What are we looking for?

As Senior Practitioner, you will have an expertise in substance use and be able to support service users, frontline staff and managers. You should evidence your experience as a substance use practitioner in your application and how your experience meets the job description as a Senior Practitioner. The Senior Practitioner will play a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality delivery of substance use treatment and interventions within Nottinghamshire. The role will entail some caseload management, supporting team leaders and managers with audits, supervision and training.

Location: Bassetlaw and Newark

Full Time Salary Range: £32,002.35 - £34,214.21 dependent on experience (based on full time hours, pro rata for part time).

Hours: Full time, 37.5 per week

Please note: full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

About You: We’re looking for a compassionate, skilled and experienced professional who:

  • Has experience working with complex substance use needs in a harm reduction or recovery-focused setting.
  • Is passionate about empowering people to make informed choices about their health and well-being.
  • Has a positive leadership style and engages well with service users and colleagues.
  • Is confident in safeguarding practice and policies.
  • Is confident in developing partnerships to improve service accessibility and engagement.
  • Can provide training and guidance to colleagues, sharing knowledge around harm reduction and interventions.
