This is an exciting opportunity to join Change Grow Live as part of a new service in Blackpool, supporting individuals and communities affected by substance use. As we begin this new chapter in Blackpool, we are looking for two Recovery Coordinators to help shape a service that is compassionate, innovative, and rooted in the needs of the local community. This is more than a Recovery Coordinator role. It is an opportunity to be part of building a new service from the beginning — helping to create positive pathways for recovery, strengthen local partnerships, and make a lasting impact for the people we support.

About The Role

As a Recovery Coordinator, you will work directly with people affected by substance use, and support people throughout their treatment and recovery journey, providing person‑centred interventions that promote recovery, resilience, and independence.

About You

We are looking for people who are compassionate, motivated, and committed to supporting recovery.

  • Experience working within substance misuse, mental health, health, social care, or related services
  • A good understanding of recovery and harm reduction approaches
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities within a busy service
  • Good IT and organisational skills
  • A collaborative and flexible approach to team working

Additional Information

Hours – Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
Contract – Permanent

Please note Full‑time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part‑time roles, salary and payments will be pro‑rata based on contracted hours. The salary advertised is subject to review in line with the 2025/26 pay award.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of service users
  • Completing assessments, recovery plans, and onward referrals
  • Delivering harm reduction and recovery‑focused interventions
  • Supporting people to improve wellbeing and social inclusion
  • Facilitating group work and structured support sessions
  • Working collaboratively with partner agencies and multidisciplinary teams
  • Promoting long‑term recovery and positive outcomes

As part of a developing service, you will also have the opportunity to contribute ideas, support innovation, and help shape how support is delivered locally.
