We have an exciting opportunity for a Recovery Coordinator with the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring they access the right interventions at the right time to meet their needs.

Where: Dewsbury

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 18.75 per week (part-time)

Salary: £27,861 - £32,002.35, dependent on experience (based on full-time hours, pro-rata for part-time)

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, salary and payments are pro-rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

About The Role:

  • Deliver psychosocial interventions to reduce disengagement, harm, and criminality.
  • Provide screening, assessment, recovery planning, and onward referral.
  • Reduce drug and alcohol-related harm to service users and the wider community.
  • Promote involvement of carers, service users, and the community.
  • Provide advocacy for access to partnership services.
  • Support social (re)integration, enabling meaningful and purposeful lives; promote recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.
  • Work in CGL Hubs and community venues.

About You:

  • Strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience in a similar field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with good IT skills.
  • Proactive, able to work independently with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Good knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and best practices.
  • Supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively with professionals, agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage change effectively, prioritizing service user needs.
  • Understanding of information governance and commitment to safeguarding protocols.
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to the professional development of oneself and others.
