As a recovery support volunteer, you will be working as part of a team, assisting them in their caseload management, supporting the service users through all aspects of their treatment journey. This can include completing assessments, supporting people to attend community and inpatient detox’s, assisting group work and undertaking one-to-one work. You will be an integral team member and will play an active role in helping our service users achieve their goals. You will receive training and support and you could work towards holding a small caseload of clients.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist with caseload management.
  • Support service users through all aspects of their treatment journey.
  • Complete assessments.
  • Support attendance to community and inpatient detox programmes.
  • Assist with group work.
  • Undertake one-to-one work.
  • Play an active role in helping service users achieve their goals.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Empathy and resilience.
  • Age 18 years or older.
  • Required to be subject to an enhanced level Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
