Role: Recovery Coordinator Location: Peterborough
Hours: Full time, 37.5 per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary Range: CGL points 23 to 28 (£27,861.26 - £32,002.35)

Responsibilities
- Provide unwavering support to service users from initial contact through their treatment and recovery journey.
- Implement tailored interventions to reduce harm caused by substance use, through group or one‑on‑one engagement.
- Ensure service users receive a comprehensive, recovery‑focused detoxification plan, including pre‑detox preparation and post‑care support.
- Collaborate with other organisations and the community to enhance recovery resources, referring users to mutual aid groups and networks.
- Advocate for family, service users and community involvement.
- Serve as a voice for service users in accessing partnership services.
- Work closely with service users to facilitate social (re)integration, enabling them to lead fulfilling, purpose‑driven lives and promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self‑determination.
About You
- Possess knowledge and experience in delivering interventions for substance‑use affected service users.
- Excel in verbal and written communication with proficient IT skills.
- Demonstrate proactive qualities, working independently with strong time management and prioritisation.
- Hold a strong understanding of mental health interventions, services and best practices.
- Thrive as a supportive team player with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse professionals, agencies and stakeholders.
- Navigate change effectively, always prioritising the needs of service users.
- Recognise the importance of information governance and commit to safeguarding processes.
- Pursue continuous learning to enhance professional knowledge and contribute to colleague development.
