Salary Range: Β£27,861.26 β Β£32,002.35 (dependent on experience, based on full-time hours; pro rata for part-time hours)
About the Role
- Provide unwavering support to service users from their initial contact with our service throughout their treatment and recovery journey.
- Implement tailored interventions aimed at reducing the harm caused by opiate use, through group sessions or one-on-one engagement.
- Ensure service users receive a comprehensive, recovery-focused detoxification plan, including pre-detox preparation and post-care support.
- Collaborate with other organisations and the community to enhance recovery resources by referring to mutual aid groups and networks.
- Advocate for involvement of family members, service users, and the community.
- Represent service users in accessing partnership services and work with them to facilitate social reintegration, promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.
About You
- Knowledge and experience delivering interventions for service users affected by opiate use.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficient IT abilities.
- Proactive, able to work independently with good time management and prioritisation.
- Understanding of mental health interventions, services, and best practices.
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse professionals, agencies, and stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate change while prioritising the needs of service users.
- Awareness of information governance and safeguarding requirements; committed to compliance.
- Commitment to continuous learning and contributing to the growth of colleagues.
