We have an exciting new role for a District Manager to join our Inspire service! Supported by the Deputy Services Manager you will be responsible for managing a multidisciplinary drug and alcohol team delivering both clinical and psychosocial interventions within an integrated service. CGL Inspire deliver accessible, high quality and comprehensive substance treatment that promotes recovery, resilience, and self-determination.

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hrs per week
Responsibilities
About the role:
- Lead the delivery and development of an integrated substance misuse service, working closely with the Management team including Team Leaders, clinicians and a committed staff team.
- Provide line management, supervision and leadership to achieve continually high performing outcomes in line with service and contractual arrangements.
- Provide a constant stimulus for improving and innovating current services. In addition you will be expected to create and facilitate a learning culture for all that consciously engages with diversity.
- Take responsibility for personal development and participate in regular supervision and appraisal. You may be required to work flexibly across a number of operational sites as required within an agreed number of hours to maintain the most appropriate level of service provision.
- Ensure high quality services are delivered consistently and adhere to best practice guidelines.
About you:
- Excellent communication and engagement skills, experience of leading and supervising staff and an ability to work well under pressure in order to deliver high quality services.
- Considerable experience of working at a management level within substance misuse services including alcohol and criminal justice with a clear understanding of the need for and ability to deliver quality services.
- Knowledge and understanding of the possible recovery pathways available across whole treatment and recovery systems including community, residential and Prison provision.
- Show a capacity to work alone and the ability to keep calm under pressure.
- Understand and have a commitment to the principles of equal opportunity and diversity.
