Responsibilities
Volunteering as a Criminal Justice Recovery Support Volunteer you will have the opportunity to work alongside our Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinators and the Probation Service gaining hands on experience whilst supporting them with their caseloads. With full training and ongoing support, you’ll gradually take responsibility for a small caseload of low-risk individuals – playing a meaningful role in their recovery journey. We are looking for someone who is tech-savvy, a natural communicator and understands the challenges faced by the people we support.
Training:
- Attendance on training is an essential part for the volunteer role.
- Mandatory: Volunteer Induction training
- Mandatory: Boundaries/Confidentiality training
- Mandatory: Drug Awareness training
- Mandatory: Harm Reduction training
- Mandatory: Alcohol Awareness training
