As a Criminal Justice Support Volunteer, you will be working in close collaboration with Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinators and Criminal Justice Services. You will be assisting Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinators in their caseload management, supporting the service user through their community order and/or licence conditions. This will include completing assessments, risk management plans, support in facilitating groups and undertaking one-to-one work and working closely with partner agencies.

This is an exciting opportunity that will allow you to gain experience of working within the criminal justice field. You will be part of a supportive team and will receive comprehensive training and guidance to help you develop within the role.

An important part of the role is listening to people and sharing what you have heard with the service, representing their views, and using their feedback to help inform how we develop and improve our services. You will help to ensure people hear about any decisions or changes that are made because of their feedback.

You will be working with Change Grow Live staff and connecting with the wider community. We also expect an assertive approach to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, young people and adults, and applicants to these posts will need to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to best safeguarding practice.

We are actively recruiting people who can offer us 1 - 3 days per week to work within our drug & alcohol service; we are specifically looking for people who are keen and enthusiastic and would be able to commit to staying as a volunteer with us for up to one year.

Interviews will take place after 30/03/26. All candidates must be available for training which will commence from 20/04/26 and will involve one day/week over seven weeks as follows:

  • Monday sessions at Bradnor Point, Wythenshawe, M22 4TF.
  • Wednesday sessions at The Old School House, Clayton, M11 4HA.
