We are looking to recruit a Reception Support Volunteer to support on our busy reception. Volunteering with Change Grow Live is a great way to make a real difference in people’s lives whilst gaining valuable experience. Whether you want to give back to your community, develop new skills, or meet like-minded people, there are plenty of reasons to get involved. At Change Grow Live you will be working with people to support change and the direction of their life, to grow as an individual, and to live life to its full potential.
Responsibilities
At Change Grow Live we strive to ensure our services are a warm and welcoming environment. Your role as a Reception Support Volunteer is to be the first point of contact within the service greeting all our visitors promptly in a friendly and courteous manner. Duties for the post include:
- Dealing with initial queries, liaising with relevant staff.
- Coordinating appointments and managing a busy waiting area.
- Sign-posting clients to support available within the service and the community (for example, smoking cessation, SMART recovery, Mutual Aid groups, amongst others).
This is an exciting opportunity which will allow you to gain experience of working within the substance misuse field. You will be part of a supportive team and will receive comprehensive training and guidance to develop within the role.
