We are now looking for two inspiring and emotionally intelligent Children & Young People Team Leaders to help lead and shape our Camberwell service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about young people, skilled at developing high-performing teams, and committed to creating services that are innovative, trauma-informed and genuinely person-centred.
As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting staff, driving service quality, developing partnerships and helping ensure young people receive the very best support possible. You will help create a positive, reflective and ambitious culture where both young people and staff can grow and succeed.
Where: Camberwell
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part‑time roles, salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours. Salary is subject to review in line with the 2025/26 pay award.
Responsibilities
You will work closely with the Service Manager and wider leadership team to support the day-to-day delivery and ongoing development of the service. The role includes:
- Leading, motivating and developing a multidisciplinary team
- Supporting a positive, psychologically safe and values‑led culture
- Driving high‑quality interventions and positive outcomes for young people
- Supporting staff wellbeing, development and performance
- Working collaboratively with local partners including schools, social care, youth justice, healthcare and community organisations
- Supporting governance, safeguarding and quality assurance processes
- Using data, insight and feedback to support continuous improvement
- Helping shape innovative approaches that improve engagement and accessibility for young people across Coventry
This is a role where relationship‑building, communication and compassionate leadership are just as important as operational oversight.

About you
We are looking for someone who can bring:
- Experience of leading or supervising teams within health, social care, young people’s or community services
- Strong safeguarding knowledge and experience working with vulnerable young people
- Experience supporting service improvement, staff engagement and positive culture development
- Confidence managing competing priorities within a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent communication and partnership working skills
- A calm, solution‑focused and reflective approach
- The ability to inspire, coach and support others to achieve their potential
