A Young Person's Resilience Worker is a frontline role supporting our Young Persons Service (aged 10-24) facing challenges with substance use.
To help young people reduce risk, build confidence, and develop healthy life skills through one-to-one support, group programs and educational workshops.
- Key Activities
- Support to engage young people who have drug and alcohol issues and provide them with advice, support and structured interventions to support their health and wellbeing needs.
- Support Resilience Workers to carry out comprehensive assessments, risk assessments & plans and contribute to the development of recovery planning.
- Document all Service User contact on case management systems in a timely manner.
- Support Resilience Workers with one-to-one key work sessions; increasing drug and alcohol awareness and delivering harm reduction advice.
