This isn’t a traditional L&D role. We’re looking for a Learning Design Manager who can take real organisational challenges and turn them into learning that sparks, engages and delivers. Not click-through content. Not box-ticking training. But learning that actually lands—that changes how people think, work and perform.

The details
- Location: National role (hybrid, with regular travel). Your contractual base will be your nearest Change Grow Live office to your home address.
- If your contractual base is in London, you will also receive London Weighting in line with Change Grow Live policy.
- Please note: Salary is subject to review in line with the 2025/26 pay award. Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
Responsibilities
- Design learning that delivers impact. You’ll lead the design and development of blended learning solutions—ensuring they are engaging, accessible and aligned to real organisational need.
- Set the standard for learning design. You’ll establish and embed quality, governance and consistency across all learning design activity—ensuring every intervention meets a high, evidence-based standard.
- Lead and grow a specialist team. You’ll lead, coach and develop a learning design team—building capability and ensuring delivery is coordinated, high-quality and outcome-focused.
- Turn complexity into clarity. You’ll translate organisational priorities, stakeholder needs and system constraints into clear, practical and engaging learning solutions.
- Make learning stick. You’ll champion learning science, digital innovation and blended approaches—ensuring learning is applied in practice, not just completed.
- Work across the organisation. You’ll partner with subject matter experts, operational leaders and digital teams to ensure learning is connected, relevant and embedded into day-to-day practice.
- Use insight to drive improvement. You’ll use data, feedback and analytics to evaluate impact—continually refining learning so it keeps pace with organisational change.
