Our Team Leaders here at Change Grow Live play an integral role in ensuring an effective service provision for our service users by creating a focused culture, engaging staff to provide an innovative and continually improving service and provide leadership, support, and development to a wide range of staff. We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Criminal Justice Team Leader to join our Norfolk Service covering all our Norfolk Bases in Great Yarmouth, Kings Lynn, Thetford and Norwich.

You will work as part of the Norfolk service, developing pathways between Criminal Justice Agencies, both in the community and within the prison service to support seamless continuity of care. As the Team Leader, you will be expected to work with the Criminal Justice team to support service users subject to court orders such as ATR, RAR, DRR and prescribed clients released from custody. You will oversee the recovery workers who will have service users on their caseloads that are linked in with the criminal justice system or are at risk of offending and help support them manage the service users' risks and support plans. A driving licence will be essential for this role due to the geographical area being covered.

Responsibilities
  • Operational line management of a team of staff which includes supervision (with reflective practice), appraisal, performance and sickness management and ensuring staff follow CGL and external policies applicable to their roles.
  • Empowering staff to promote hope, empowerment, choices, control, and opportunities that assist service users reaching their full potential as individuals and community members.
  • Working with your team and Designated Safeguarding Lead (if not your role) to ensure that the practices within the team/service enable identification of service users, children and families who are at risk.
  • Ensuring that staff are competent in the delivery of interventions that reduce risk to service users.
  • Supporting staff to improve service user outcomes through observed practice, providing timely values‑based feedback.
Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of developing and leading health and social care services and delivering services which evidence high performance and quality standards.
  • Significant experience of leading teams who work with service users who are involved with the Criminal Justice system.
  • Able to lead, inspire and develop a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to use common MS Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook).

Salary is subject to review in line with the 2025/26 pay award.
