As an apprentice with CGL, you have the opportunity to grow and learn whilst earning. For this role you will receive a total yearly salary of £27,007.50 for year one. During your apprenticeship, you will be working towards the Customer Care Practitioner Level 2 over the duration of 15 months.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Learn During Your Apprenticeship:
- As first point of contact within the service, ensure that telephone calls and visits from service users, outside agencies and CGL staff are dealt with promptly and courteously, transferring calls to appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Ensure effective processing of correspondence, diary management and scheduling of meetings.
- Minute take at team and other meetings.
- Assist with the maintenance of a general filing system within the project.
- Assist in monitoring and ordering to meet office requirements.
- Assist in maintaining and balancing local petty cash systems under the direction of the administrators.
- Carry out photocopying as required.
- Assist admin in ensuring record-keeping and communication within the project are maintained.
- Gain an understanding of operational requirements of the project base & Senior Management as required, e.g. room bookings, travel arrangements.
Support with your studies: 1 day per week will be provided for dedicated study time. If additional study time is required then this can be negotiated with Line Management.
General terms of reference:
- Work flexibly across operational sites as required.
- Work flexibly within an agreed number of hours of work to maintain the most appropriate level of service provision.
- Seek to improve personal performance, contribution, knowledge and skills.
- Participate in appraisal, training and supervision processes.
- Keep abreast of developments in services, legislation and practice relevant to the relevant client group.
- Ensure the implementation of all CGL policies.
- Contribute to maintaining safe systems of work and a safe environment.
- Undertake other duties appropriate to the grade of the post.
