An exciting opportunity has arisen within CGL East Sussex substance misuse service for an enthusiastic, reliable, IT literate, and dedicated Administrator to join our office based team at Hastings. The role will require you to provide effective administrative support to the CGL East Sussex Drug & Alcohol Recovery Service.

Where: Hastings

Hours: 30 hours a week

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract until March 2027

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

About the role:

  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of prescriptions
  • Process correspondence in and out of the service
  • Ensure effective processing data entry as required
  • Undertake operational requirements of the project base as required, e.g archiving, room bookings etc.
  • Assist with maintaining petty cash systems
  • Provide administrative back up in support of operations across the service.
  • Attend and take minutes at meetings as required
  • Support the management team in developing effective systems.
  • Maintain diaries for assessments and medicals
  • Assist with building maintenance, premises and Health and Safety matters.
  • Place orders as needed for stationery, equipment, consumables
  • Work across all sites in East Sussex as needed
  • Single Point of Contact when required for drug workers and other professionals
  • Ensuring local systems are in place in order to meet all data and auditing requirements
  • All other duties as required

About You:

  • Experience of working within a busy office environment
  • Experience of working with Microsoft software packages, and databases
  • Understanding of the issues around safeguarding and confidentiality
  • Flexible, approachable, dependable and conscientious approach to work
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy
  • IT / admin certificate
  • Experience of working in a health / social care setting
