Responsibilities
- Work alongside our Recovery Coordinators to co-facilitate our Women’s Group on Friday mornings.
- Welcome the attendees into a safe space, support and encourage engagement throughout the duration of the group.
- Help with setting up the group room, clearing down and being a positive role model to those you support.
- Support with making appointment reminders and wellbeing phone calls.
- Assist people to self-refer themselves for support and input data onto our record management systems.
Supporting individuals to achieve their goals can be rewarding and you can make a real difference to somebody’s life. It can take time for the people we support to engage and trust in us, so consistency, patience and resilience is key to this role.
Qualifications
This role is ideal for a friendly, enthusiastic and compassionate individual with lived experience, who is patient, and non-judgemental. You will receive full training to undertake this role and ongoing support to further develop your skills.

- It is a genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010 for the successful applicant to be female.
- You must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this volunteering role.
- This post is subject to a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme check level 2 disclosure with PVG.
