Location & Role: Data Administrator – HMP Elmley, covering the Isle of Sheppey Cluster (HMP Swaleside and HMP Standford Hill).
Key Responsibilities
- Support the data and performance team leader and wider team to collect and manage data requirements for the services, including collation and monitoring of several internal and external data systems.
- Work with the administrative team to provide comprehensive office management, office systems and administrative support services.
- Develop and nurture sound relationships with Change Grow Live Business Support and external office and equipment suppliers.
- Manage an electronic filing system to ensure that service users’ data and information are kept in an orderly and accessible manner (CRIIS or equivalent system).
- Assist in the servicing and maintenance of IT and telecommunication systems and all other office equipment (e.g., fax machine, photocopier).
- Photocopy, collate, laminate, and bind report documents when necessary.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong administrative skills and experience working in a busy office environment.
- IT literacy, including proficiency in data collection systems (e.g., NDTMS, Public Health).
- Expertise in using WORD and EXCEL.
- Excellent time management, organisation and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain prison vetting, and to work within the scheduling of the prison system.
Working Conditions & Benefits
- Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week.
- 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
- 25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays.
- One extra day of annual leave is added each year of service during the first five years, for a total of 30 days after five years.
