Are you a passionate and dedicated Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable people? Change Grow Live is seeking an experienced NMP to join our high-performing Kirklees service. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our service users—many of whom experience complex physical health, mental health, and substance use challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive clinical assessments and develop tailored care plans
  • Prescribe, review, and optimise treatment in line with evidence-based practice and local/national guidance
  • Support individuals through their recovery journey, promoting independence and improved health outcomes
  • Respond effectively to complex or urgent clinical situations, liaising with senior clinical colleagues where needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with policy and legislation
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, partner agencies, and service users to deliver holistic care

You will also contribute to service development, participate in clinical audit and appraisal processes, and help ensure the continued delivery of high-quality care.

Working Pattern

Location: Dewsbury (with the requirement to work across Kirklees when home visits or cover in Huddersfield is needed). No remote or home working is possible in this role. Hours: 37.5 hours per week (full time). Flexibility: Includes evening working until 8pm on Wednesdays, with an adjusted early finish/late start on another day. Happy to discuss flexible working arrangements. Every Tuesday morning is CPD time.

About You

We are keen to hear from qualified Non-Medical Prescribers with community prescribing experience who are committed to reducing health inequalities. You will:

  • Be a registered nurse (with current NMC PIN and 3+ years’ post-qualification experience) OR a qualified pharmacist (with current GPhC registration and 2+ years’ experience)
  • Hold a recognised Non-Medical Prescribing qualification
  • Have experience working with vulnerable or complex populations
  • Demonstrate strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
  • Be able to travel between sites as required
