We have an exciting opportunity for a Data & Performance Administrator to join our Coventry service. Working closely with our Senior Data Analysts, you will play an important role in making sure our data is accurate, accessible and turned into useful performance information for managers and operational teams. This is a role for someone who is confident working with data and genuinely enjoys making spreadsheets and reporting processes work better. You will have strong Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 skills, with particular expertise in Excel, and will support the generation, maintenance and automation of regular reports. You will also help identify data-quality issues and opportunities to reduce manual processes and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Data Analysts with the collection, collation, validation and reporting of service data.
- Maintain accurate spreadsheets, trackers, databases and other approved data-management systems.
- Produce regular and ad hoc performance reports for managers and internal stakeholders within agreed timescales.
- Use advanced Excel functionality to improve the accuracy, presentation and efficiency of reporting, including formulas, lookup functions, pivot tables, charts, data validation and conditional formatting.
- Support the development and automation of recurring reports using approved Microsoft tools, reducing repetitive manual work and duplication.
- Carry out routine data-quality checks, identify anomalies or gaps and work with colleagues to resolve data-recording issues.
- Support monitoring of KPIs, contractual requirements and quality-improvement activity, escalating complex analytical issues to the Senior Data Analyst.
- Create clear tables, dashboards and summaries that enable Senior Data Analysts and managers to understand service performance quickly.
- Maintain clear documentation and version control for reporting tools and processes so work is consistent, auditable and can be covered during periods of absence.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information in line with CGL information-governance requirements.
- Respond to routine data requests and work collaboratively with administrators, frontline teams and managers to improve data recording and reporting processes.
About you
- You have strong practical expertise in Microsoft Excel and are comfortable working with large or complex spreadsheets.
- You are confident using Microsoft 365 applications and can quickly learn new systems and processes.
- You have experience maintaining databases or data-management systems and producing accurate reports.
- You have excellent attention to detail and will spot when something in the data does not look right rather than simply accepting the output.
