As a Connecting Communities Case Worker with Change Grow Live, you’ll work with people in custody who use our services to prepare for transition back into the community. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience of substance misuse issues looking to take the next step in their career with a charity that will support your continued personal and professional development.
This role is based across 4 prison sites: HMP Rochester, HMP Cookham Wood, HMP Maidstone & HMP East Sutton Park.
Full Time Salary Range : to (pro rata for part time hours)
Full Time Hours : 37.5 per week
Contract : Permanent
This is a prison based role and is subject to prison clearance.
Responsibilities
Change Grow Live currently provide psychosocial interventions and transitional services across prisons in contract includes the Connecting Communities team. This team prepares people engaging with CGL and Oxleas for release back into the community or when transferring to another site.
Dedicated staff will work together with healthcare colleagues supporting clients when transitioning to communities across the UK. Our enhanced offer will include flexibility to engage with clients for a period of time post release.
You will join a dedicated and motivated team who are passionate about rehabilitation and recovery. We are looking to recruit a passionate and committed individual to the role of Case Worker within the Connecting Communities Team based within the following three prisons:
HMP Rochester and HMP Cookham Wood are category C adults and young offenders male prison.
HMP Maidstone is a category C training prison for foreign national prisoners.
HMP East Sutton Park is a women\’s open resettlement prison for adults and young women.
