Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live. Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of a million hours of their time to our organisation. Would you like to join our growing team of volunteers, and make a real difference? Ealing RISE works with a number of agencies to support the residents of the borough of Ealing who are experiencing difficulties with drugs and/or alcohol. We work with the Central and Northwest London NHS Foundation Trust and with a peer led service called Build on Belief (BoB). We help residents of the Borough of Ealing who are over 18 and work closely with the Women’s Wellness Zone, which offers support to women with complex needs. We are looking for passionate and reliable volunteers to join our Ealing RISE Team. The purpose of this role is to provide the team with administrative support.
Responsibilities
- You will work as an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team of Recovery Practitioners, Doctors, Nurses, Psychiatrists, and Psychologists, to deliver high quality provision from point of entry into RISE.
- You will support with:
- Booking appointments
- Sending letters and general office duties such as photocopying, filing and scanning
- Provide general administrative support to management, such as minute taking, preparing for meetings.
- Keep notice boards, leaflets and literature up to date
- Needle exchanges
- Oversight of office inventory, including ensuring an adequate supply of office stationery
This is a great voluntary role for anyone who is interested in learning and gaining experience working within a Drug and Alcohol recovery service in their community.
