We are now looking for two inspiring and emotionally intelligent Children & Young People Team Leader to help lead and shape our Camberwell service.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about young people, skilled at developing high-performing teams, and committed to creating services that are innovative, trauma-informed and genuinely person-centred.
As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting staff, driving service quality, developing partnerships and helping ensure young people receive the very best support possible. You will help create a positive, reflective and ambitious culture where both young people and staff can grow and succeed.
Where: Camberwell
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type : Permanent
Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
Salary is subject to review in line with the 2025/26 pay award.
Responsibilities
About the role
You will work closely with the Service Manager and wider leadership team to support the day-to-day delivery and ongoing development of the service.
The role includes:
- Leading, motivating and developing a multidisciplinary team
- Supporting a positive, psychologically safe and values-led culture
- Driving high-quality interventions and positive outcomes for young people
- Supporting staff wellbeing, development and performance
- Working collaboratively with local partners including schools, social care, youth justice, healthcare and community organisations
- Supporting governance, safeguarding and quality assurance processes
- Using data, insight and feedback to support continuous improvement
- Helping shape innovative approaches that improve engagement and accessibility for young people across Coventry
This is a role where relationship-building, communication and compassionate leadership are just as important as operational oversight.

About you
We are looking for someone who can bring:
- Experience of leading or supervising teams within health, social care, young people’s or community services
- Strong safeguarding knowledge and experience working with vulnerable young people
- Experience supporting service improvement, staff engagement and positive culture development
- Confidence managing competing priorities within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and partnership working skills
- A calm, solution-focused and reflective approach
- The ability to inspire, coach and support others to achieve their potential
