Overview
Location: Coventry
Hours: Full time, 37.5 per week (rota including weekends)
Contract: Fixed Term until 22nd of January 2027 (maternity cover)

The Role
We are seeking a resilient and motivated individual with existing knowledge of mental health practices and experience or understanding of substance misuse to support people experiencing recovery challenges. You will provide timely interventions, help individuals access appropriate services, and build meaningful, supportive relationships.
Responsibilities
- Engage and support individuals with substance misuse issues
- Carry out assessments and identify appropriate treatment pathways
- Coordinate clinical assessments with nursing teams
- Work with partner agencies to support service users
- Deliver harm-reduction advice and brief interventions
- Maintain referral records and documentation
- Manage safeguarding concerns appropriately
About You
- Experience or understanding of substance misuse
- Strong communication and IT skills
- Able to work independently and manage priorities
- Flexible, including occasional evening work
- Willing to conduct home visits (driving licence desirable)
- Knowledge of mental health practices
- Team-focused with strong collaboration skills
- Committed to safeguarding and professional development
