Volunteers are essential to Change Grow Live, bringing valuable skills, lived experience, and passion that strengthen our teams, improve outcomes, help us break down barriers and support meaningful change. As a Women's Group Support Volunteer, you will work alongside our Recovery Coordinators to co-facilitate our Women's Group on Friday mornings. You will:

  • Welcome attendees into a safe space and encourage their engagement throughout the session
  • Help set up the group room before the session and clear it afterward
  • Act as a positive role model for participants
  • Make appointment reminders and make wellbeing phone calls
  • Assist people to self-refer for support and input data into our record-management systems

It is a genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010 for the successful applicant to be female. You must be at least 18 years of age and a full-time or part-time volunteer is acceptable. A Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme check level 2 disclosure with PVG will be required.
