Do you have strong MI & Reporting skills? Are you an expert with Excel (PowerPivot)? Experienced with SQL & Python? If so, I have a really interesting role for you. I’m looking for a Senior Data Analyst / Developer to join my client's growing team. This is a key role supporting new business initiatives, strategic planning, data management, and reporting. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality, actionable Business Intelligence that enables core business functions to run effectively. It's hybrid working, 3 days a week (5 days initially) in their Glasgow city centre office.

What You’ll Do

  • Mentor a team of performance analysts to deliver exceptional service.
  • Monitor real-time business activity, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop efficient systems and processes for analysing cross-functional business data.
  • Create and maintain performance-related MI and customer dashboards that are timely, accurate, and easy to interpret.
  • Provide detailed analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Deliver training to managers on interpreting and using performance data.
  • Develop forecasting models and capacity planning methodologies, ensuring resource levels meet business demands.
  • Design inbound call routing configurations to optimise customer experience and reduce costs.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational excellence.
  • Champion continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives across the organisation.

Your experience should include:

  • Proven experience in Management Information and Performance Management.
  • Background in workforce management, demand forecasting, and performance optimisation.
  • Excellent analytical skills and advanced Excel knowledge (including complex formulas, analysis tool packs, and PowerPivot).
  • Ability to extract and manipulate data using SQL.
  • Python for coding and Power BI for Visualisation ideally.
  • Understanding of Business Intelligence tools.
  • Qualification in Data Science or Data Analytics.
