Change Digital are recruiting on behalf of our global client with offices in central Edinburgh a solutions driven Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure) to lead the design, implementation and migration of on-prem VMware workloads into Microsoft Azure. You’ll play a key role in shaping a secure, high performance cloud environment within a highly regulated financial services organisation.

As part of the Information Technology function, you’ll work closely with architecture, cybersecurity, network and operations teams to deliver scalable, compliant and cost optimised cloud solutions.

What you’ll bring:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure and services.
  • Proven delivery of VMware-to-Azure migrations (Azure Migrate, ASR or HCX).
  • Deep knowledge of Azure IaaS, networking, storage and governance.
  • Strong IaC skills using Terraform and/or Bicep; CI/CD with Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of security, compliance and cost optimisation in regulated financial environments.
  • Familiarity with Windows/Linux admin in hybrid setups.
  • Flexible and proactive approach, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • AKS, Docker, App Services, FinOps, Zero Trust, Defender for Cloud, Microsoft certifications (AZ-104/305/700), and DR/BCP experience.
