Information Security Engineer – Glasgow – up to £65K plus benefits (Hybrid working – 2 days a week in the Glasgow office).
Change Digital are working with a leading global organisation to recruit an
Information Security Engineer to join their growing Information Security team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced security professional to act as a trusted security advisor while also taking a hands-on role in securing cloud and enterprise technologies.
You'll work closely with Architecture, Infrastructure, Cloud and Cyber teams to ensure security is embedded into projects from design through to implementation.
Key responsibilities include
- Providing security consultancy across business and IT projects
- Conducting security design reviews and technical risk assessments
- Leading security assurance for Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
- Working with Microsoft Sentinel, Crowd Strike, Defender and other security technologies
- Supporting penetration testing, security standards and cloud security best practices
- Helping shape the organisation's security architecture and cyber strategy
- Assessing and securing emerging AI technologies, including agentic AI, MCP Server/Client implementations, and solutions built on Microsoft Copilot and Open AI
We're looking for experience with
- Azure & Microsoft 365 Security
- Security Architecture & Design Reviews
- Cloud Security & Risk Assessment
- SIEM, EDR & Vulnerability Management
- Microsoft Sentinel, Defender or Crowd Strike
- Exposure to AI security, including Microsoft Copilot, Open AI, agentic AI or MCP implementations, would be highly advantageous
- Knowledge of Kusto Query Language (KQL) or Crowd Strike Query Language (CQL), with the ability to create queries for security investigations and reporting, would be a distinct advantage
