Change Digital are recruiting on behalf of our Edinburgh based client an IT Support Engineer with Modern Workplace experience, someone confident with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune, not primarily on‑prem AD/Exchange to join a small, supportive IT team where you’ll handle day‑to‑day support while developing deeper skills in device management, identity, and cybersecurity.
The Role
- Provide 1st–2nd line support
- Support onboarding/offboarding and device setup
- Manage Intune‑enrolled Windows/iOS/Android devices
- Assist with M365 admin, identity, and access management
- Support security monitoring, incident response, patching, and compliance
- Contribute to improvement and automation projects
Essential
- Solid understanding of IT fundamentals (Windows, networking, identity)
- Service desk or 1st line experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and basic Intune concepts
- Good troubleshooting and communication skills
- Understanding of basic security principles (MFA, phishing, compliance)
- Proactive and keen to develop
Desirable
- Hands-on Intune experience
- Exposure to O365 admin (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams)
- Knowledge of Defender/Sentinel
- Understanding of Entra ID/Conditional Access
- Relevant Microsoft certifications
