Change Digital have partnered exclusively with a newly funded technology startup operating within the public safety, security and AI space to appoint a Head of Data Science & AI to join its senior technical leadership team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in building next-generation AI and analytics capabilities used within high-stakes operational environments.

Key areas of experience sought include:

  • Applied Data Science & Machine Learning
  • LLMs, RAG Architecture & NLP/NER
  • AI Governance & Responsible AI
  • Offline / Air-Gapped AI Deployments

The successful candidate will work closely with engineering leadership, help shape long-term AI strategy and contribute directly to customer-facing projects across complex operational domains. Remote-first (UK only) Senior Leadership Salary + Equity SC Clearance eligibility required. Early-stage startup with strong funding and high-profile leadership/advisory team. Ideal background could include defence, intelligence, public sector technology, financial crime analytics, or other highly regulated environments.
