Change Digital are recruiting on behalf of our global client with offices in central Edinburgh for an experienced Data Architect to design the technical foundations that power modern, scalable and secure data solutions. You'll work across engineering, architecture and product teams to define end-to-end data designs, create reusable architecture patterns, and ensure data platforms deliver high performance, reliability and business value. From cloud data platforms and APIs to event-driven architectures and security-by-design, you'll play a key role in turning strategy into execution.

What you'll bring:

  • Strong Data Architecture experience on modern cloud platforms
  • Expertise in Snowflake, Oracle or similar technologies
  • Data integration, APIs, event-driven and analytical architectures
  • Advanced SQL and data engineering knowledge
  • Security, privacy, observability and data quality by design
  • Performance, scalability and cost optimisation expertise
  • DevOps/DataOps, CI/CD and automation experience
