Digital Analyst – Edinburgh – up to £55K + benefits (Hybrid working)

Position Summary

Change Digital are working closely with a financial services company in the UK who are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Analyst to join the business. This exciting role will report to the Digital Analytics Manager and form part a team of Digital Analysts who work closely with Product Owners, UX Designers to analyse data, identify insights and opportunities to develop exceptional digital customer experiences that deliver customer and business value.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Data analysis and interpretation: Analyse website traffic, customer behaviour, and conversion rates to derive actionable insights. Interpret data to inform decision-making and optimise digital journeys.
  • Reporting and visualisation: Create and deliver regular reports and dashboards to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and trends. Use data visualisation tools to present complex data in an understandable and accessible manner.
  • Performance optimisation: Identify opportunities for improving website performance, user experience, and conversion rates. Conduct A/B testing and multivariate testing to evaluate the effectiveness of changes and enhancements.
  • Collaboration and communication: Work closely with marketing, product, and technology teams to align analytics with overall business objectives. Communicate findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

We need you to have:

  • Digital Analytics experience, focussed on customer journeys and website behaviour, working with an enterprise platform such as Adobe Analytics/Google Analytics.
  • Strong communications skills, demonstrating an ability to communicate analysis and insights to a range of audiences across the business.
  • A relentless customer focus, ensuring our Digital Analytics supports the development of exceptional digital customer experiences that deliver customer and business value.
  • Ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced organisation, prioritising individual and team backlogs on activities that add most value.
  • Experience working and debugging with a Tag Management solution.

And if you have any of these, even better:

  • Experience working with Maxymiser Testing and Optimisation, or another A/B and multivariate testing platform.
  • Experience working in an agile change environment.
  • Experience working with marketing technologies (Google, Meta etc.) and with HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
  • Experience working with qualitive data tools (Medallia DXA etc.).
