Do you have strong MI & Reporting skills? Are you an expert with Excel (PowerPivot)? Experienced with SQL, Python and Power BI? If so, I have a really interesting role for you. I’m looking for a Business Performance Manager to join my client's growing team. This is a key role supporting new business initiatives, strategic planning, data management, and reporting. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality, actionable Business Intelligence that enables core business functions to run effectively. It's hybrid working, 3 days a week (5 days initially) in their Glasgow city centre office.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage a team of performance analysts to deliver exceptional service.
- Monitor real-time business activity, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop efficient systems and processes for analysing cross-functional business data.
- Create and maintain performance-related MI and customer dashboards that are timely, accurate, and easy to interpret.
- Provide detailed analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Deliver training to managers on interpreting and using performance data.
- Develop forecasting models and capacity planning methodologies, ensuring resource levels meet business demands.
- Design inbound call routing configurations to optimise customer experience and reduce costs.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational excellence.
- Champion continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives across the organisation.
Your experience should include:
- Proven experience in Management Information and Performance Management.
- Background in workforce management, demand forecasting, and performance optimisation.
- Excellent analytical skills and advanced Excel knowledge (including complex formulas, analysis tool packs, and PowerPivot).
- Ability to extract and manipulate data using SQL.
- Python for coding and Power BI for Visualisation ideally.
- Understanding of Business Intelligence tools.
- Qualification in Data Science or Data Analytics.
