Job Description
Are you an experienced Business Analyst ?
Do you have experience working on complex Data programmes ?
Do you have Investment industry or financial services experience ?
If so I have a really interesting 6 month daily rate contract role (Inside IR35)
Paying between £450 – £475 per day.
Its 3 days a week in the Edinburgh Office so you must live within commuting distance.
You must also have the right to work in UK without sponsorship.
Responsibilities include:
- Work independently with ownership for large pieces of analysis on high priority projects
- Skilled in analysis planning, take ownership of analysis plan, review and adapt to meet project demands
- Lead data and business analysis and design effort in a complex project environment
- Proficient in data & business analysis and experience working with Data Architecture and Data Governance
- Collaborate with stakeholders, SMEs, POs etc. to derive and document functional and non-functional requirements and benefits for new MDS solution.
- Effectively communicate requirements to third-party
- Collaborate with developers and testers to create high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure solutions meet business requirements
Your skills should include:
- Proficient data and business analysis and in employing Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies to effectively document and define acceptance criteria
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent writing skills, with good attention to detail and an ability to combine quantitative and qualitative perspectives
- Excellent communication and influencing skills combining technical knowledge with articulate discussion
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Diligent and organised. Deliver high quality results to strict deadlines
- Initiative-taking approach. Initiative-taking self-starter with the ability to adapt, prioritise and manage own workload
- Ability to work well in a project and programme team, collaborating and sharing knowledge
