Are you an experienced Solution Architect ?

Have you worked in the Energy Sector ?, if not Financial Services?

Are you comfortable working in a client facing consultancy role and have experience delivering greenfield solutions you have built for clients ?

This is a permanent role and you will be part of an expert provider of professional services, predominantly into the Energy sector.

You will be mainly remote based however you need to be able to travel to client sites and offices based in London or Birmingham when required.

The team are technically agnostic however there is a preference for Cloud skills on AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of platforms across domains, be it Energy, Finance, Public Sector, Healthcare or other domains.
  • Define and communicate clear solution requirements to support technology-enabled change.
  • Act as a functional and technical expert across project implementation and release cycles.
  • Set up and manage technical governance frameworks and programme-level architecture.
  • Participate in design reviews, identifying risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Architect cloud-native systems using Azure, AWS, and Oracle Cloud.
  • Apply Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
  • Lead API design, integration strategies, and legacy modernization to microservices.
  • Implement Identity and Access Management (IDAM) and enterprise security architecture.
  • Support data architecture using Databricks, Snowflake, ETL pipelines, and Big Data tools.
  • Champion Data Governance practices including classification, cataloging, and lineage.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI DSS, and other security standards.
  • Embed Dev Sec Ops principles into CI/CD pipelines and platform delivery.
  • Produce High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLD/LLD) and Solution Architecture Documents (SAD).
