As a Project Engineer - Evaluation and Road Test, you will be responsible for conducting vehicle evaluation and validation based on localised usage scenarios and preparing export reports while providing valuable suggestions to the project team. You will develop estimation strategies and oversee the execution of estimations, focusing on key areas such as the NVH, driving performance, power performance, smart cockpit, and autonomous driving, among other areas. Your insights will play a crucial role in supporting Full-Vehicle HW/SW Functional Integration & Performance Enhancement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferred majors include Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Automation, Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Information, and other related fields.
  • At least 5 years of working experience.
  • Understand the basic structure of vehicles and be familiar with the fundamental working principles of automotive electrical appliances.
  • Proficient in the use of in-vehicle data acquisition and analysis tools including CAN networks, Ethernet, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Familiar with fundamental vehicle disassembly, repair, and maintenance procedures, with a track record of successful project experience.
  • Strong insight and analytical skills, with vehicle-level road worthiness validation and driving impression assessment.
  • Skilled in the use of statistical analysis software and able to present testing and valuation results in a deep, objective, and accurate manner.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for working out test proposal based on local environment, including plan, route, personnel requirements, resource requirements, etc.
  • Responsible for supporting calibration data collection on test verification, including intelligent driving, power, and three-electricity local environment.
  • Responsible for prototype testing, proof of concept, usability testing, formulating test plans, producing test reports, and providing product improvement suggestions.
  • Responsible for coordinating resource allocation for overseas voice and language verification, local test research and development.
  • Responsible for identifying local requirements accurately: collecting and analysing local user's needs (such as local driving habits, special climate requirements, user data, typical features of roads and parking), provide feedback as technical language.
  • Responsible for collaborating domestic product project team or relevant departments to make differentiated performance and test verification standards for KD project and localised components, promote related tests.
  • Responsible for coordinating local prototype vehicle business, including license plate, insurance, local prototype vehicle shipment, driver arrangement and training, management of local prototype vehicle custody, prototype vehicle confidentiality, safety and disposal, as well as test equipment management.
