Having established design and R&D centres in Europe since the early 2000s, Changan is now reinforcing its commitment to the region with a new European headquarters in Munich. Starting this summer, the company will launch operations across various European markets, introducing a lineup of vehicles that combine European design sophistication with cutting-edge Chinese technology. About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Vehicle Ordering and Operations Assistant Manager to drive the accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement of Changan’s vehicle management processes in the UK.
You will take ownership of the end-to-end vehicle delivery journey, ensuring seamless supply from order through to customer delivery. This includes managing stock at port (including colour mix and age profile), overseeing dealer wholesale activity, and ensuring invoice and delivery accuracy.
As a key contributor to the customer experience, you will ensure dealers and customers receive timely, accurate updates on vehicle status and delivery timelines.
Acting as the in-house “super user” for the vehicle ordering system, you will manage all internal and fleet vehicle orders while serving as the primary liaison between the dealer network, internal stakeholders, and the IT development team. Your work will directly influence vehicle availability, dealer satisfaction, and operational performance as we scale our UK operations.
This role works cross-functionally with Finance, Logistics, Sales, IT, and dealer partners to drive process optimisation, data integrity, and exceptional service standards.

- Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management
- Confident in delivering training and system support
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment

- Ability to manage process documentation and reporting
Duties Responsibilities
- Own and manage the end-to-end vehicle ordering process for all internal and fleet vehicle orders across the UK, ensuring complete accuracy.
- Monitor and manage stock profiles to minimise aged stock at port and across the dealer network.
- Serve as the in-house super user for the vehicle ordering system, providing expert support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyse ordering data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and errors, driving continuous process improvement.
- Collaborate with IT to identify, define, and prioritise system enhancements and functionality improvements.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new system releases and updates.
- Provide timely first-line support to dealer network partners for ordering system queries.
- Develop and deliver training sessions and user documentation to improve system adoption and efficiency.
- Produce regular reports on ordering performance, accuracy, and delivery timelines.
