We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lift Service Engineer who would like to join a professional team maintaining and repairing lifts in London and the Home Counties. Person specification and skills required:
- Qualified or working towards a minimum of NVQ level 3 and EOR/202 or equivalent in lift engineering
- Full driving licence
- You must be an experienced Lift Engineer with in-depth knowledge of a variety of different brands of equipment
- Ability and desire to learn new skills
- Effective communicator
- Computer / smart phone experience as we use a remote application for logging jobs and completing worksheets
- Working predominantly in London and home counties
- Whilst you must be a team player it is essential that you can also work on your own initiative
As a qualified service lift engineer, you will be expected to:
- Carry out lift maintenance and lift service visits of the units within your territory
- Respond proactively and timely to lift breakdowns aiming to always achieve first time fix
- Carry out minor lift repairs to achieve continual lift operation
- Liaise directly with the customer whilst on site and build a good working relationship
- Have in-depth knowledge of a variety of different makes and types of equipment
- Demonstrate that you can apply lift engineering principles to maintenance and fault diagnosis
