The Sales Manager for London is a Regional Manager level role, responsible for taking overall accountability for the retail business within a specific geographical area with a key focus on flagship accounts. Identify and develop opportunities to grow the CHANEL business and work with the Field Retail Development Managers to execute the brands priorities, ensuring the standards reflect that of the CHANEL image.
The Sales Manager for London is responsible for identifying areas of opportunity that could impact the overall F&B business and take the project lead to develop and execute these.

- Empower and develop the Field Retail Development Managers
- Ability to build strong, professional relationships with Store Managers, Sales Managers and key decision makers within stores. To ensure optimum working partnerships in the development of the CHANEL business
- Contribute to the overall brands sales growth by identify new opportunities that can be executed across all different business models
- Demonstrate high operational understanding of our Stand-Alone businesses and work on enhancing the procedures already in place.
- Take overall responsibility for all loss prevention in Stand Alone Boutiques and identify ways to prevent/improve this.
- Communicate stock intake issues in Wholesale and potential solutions to Head of National Accounts
- Continue to encourage a one house vision through working with key stake holders in the other divisions to maximise sales in key doors
- Identify and implement a London Region specific strategy that supports the overall brands objectives.
- Sharing regional specific trends and opportunities with key stakeholders to help influence over arching strategies.
- Work alongside the Retail Development Managers to dives area specific sales plans to maximise on potential sales.
- Conduct quarterly retail meetings to review performance and develop business acumen.
- Oversee key doors recruitment and optimise staffing levels and quality of the teams in place.
- Ensure all HR procedures are followed.
- Provide support, advice and direction to line reports. Prepare reports as requested to afford insight into the Brand performance within the Region.
- Working with Head of Sales to progress and develop the Retail Sales, theatre and image of the Chanel Brand to an optimum level within these specific doors.
- Ensure that staffing quality and compliment is always at the highest possible level reflective of the service we must offer in these very best accounts.
