This role can be based in Paris or London. The Talent Management Project Manager is responsible for driving strategic talent management initiatives, focusing on leadership succession, talent development, and governance across the organisation. This role partners closely with leadership and HR stakeholders to ensure robust succession plans, the evolution of talent tools, and effective oversight of talent resources. The ideal candidate is adept at project management, workforce strategy, and stakeholder engagement, with a strong ability to deliver impactful talent solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support annual talent management cycle and retro planning, developing and updating support materials to firmly establish talent review and succession planning at scale.
  • Continue to enhance and embed the talent management refresh (revised talent definition, enhanced and common cycle and tools).
  • Enhance and maintain the technical solution for Talent Cards, providing actionable insights for talent decisions.
  • Deliver insights from Workday talent analytics to inform talent identification and evaluation.
  • Coordinate global succession planning process and provide support to entity partners contributing to comprehensive workforce development and leadership continuity.
  • Build and embed structured methodology to ensure succession planning is enabled by future-proofed success profiles (capturing essential skills and experiences), calibration, development planning, and strong governance.
  • Collaborate with the People Solutions team on the Workday talent and succession planning tool – including enhancing data analytics/reporting, and delivering annual Talent review and succession plan insights.
  • Design governance model to optimise a global talent development initiative focused on the accelerated development of Top talent.
  • Reimagine the talent fund and its governance to optimise resource allocation and support key talent programmes, building and gaining endorsement to a proposal to shift the way the budget is leveraged to enhance the reach and impact, as well as building strong governance in terms of fund entry, management of talent in fund, and exit.
  • Assist in the preparation of global Talent Forums, driving stakeholder engagement and supporting internal mobility.
  • Provide analytics to enable forums and track ROI.
  • Manage the effective running of performance management cycle (mid-year, year-end), updating toolkits and communication materials.
  • Partner with L&D, People Solutions and communications team to refresh the toolkits, comms plan and system changes (embed a new leadership framework) and support the talent community.
  • Track completion rates to report to different senior stakeholders.
  • Support Becoming@Chanel for All, embedding global talent principles and coordinate the creation, update and publishing of content management of the career portal page.
  • Partner with global & local communications and People Solutions teams to ensure updated content is distributed to all entities.
  • Support the global talent community through effective communication and resource provisioning across all topics.
  • Partner with Global People Solutions to develop and maintain Talent Dashboards and KPI reports, ensuring accuracy and relevance for business leaders and manage Workday security rights for talent data and analytics.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in project management, ideally within talent management or HR.
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of interpreting talent data and translating into strategic action.
  • Expertise in talent management, performance management, succession planning and workforce planning.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in governance and resource optimisation within talent programmes.
