ABOUT THE JOB
As a member of our Stock Control team your mission is to effectively manage the movement of stock and supplies into, around and out of our Selfridges boutique. This is a great opportunity to join a highly dynamic team at a very exciting time.
What impact you create at Chanel
- Accurate receipt of deliveries, ensuring that goods received correspond with the appropriate documentation as well as maintaining the computerised inventory system accurately.
- Arrange for return and transfers of stock as requested, liaising with colleagues and recipients as necessary.
- Develop and maintain expert standards of product knowledge to be shared as appropriate.
- Communicate and liaise appropriately and effectively with colleagues and management within own and other Boutiques, as well as with CHANEL Head Office as required.
- Work effectively and efficiently within the team, sharing ideas and contributing to a positive morale as well as ensuring good time management and sufficient Boutique cover at all times.
- Apply a helpful and courteous manner towards all colleagues, remaining reliable, supportive and flexible as the business demands.
- Ensure absolute confidentiality of the Company's commercial activities and internal affairs at all times.
- Timely and accurate completion of any necessary administration, adhering to set procedures and policies as appropriate.
- Assist with regular stock level checks, and review alterations and holds as appropriate.
- Assist with the preparation as well as attending regular events including special events, promotions, stock taking etc.
- Ensure all goods are security tagged, ticketed, handled and stored with due care.
- Assist with the maintenance of relevant displays and the prompt and correct replacement of sold products.
- Successfully participate in and complete any training provided, acquiring and applying high standards of customer service and product knowledge.
